Tamil Nadu Honorable Chief
Minister Dr. J. Jayalalitha has sanctioned Rs. 120 crore for setting up basic
infrastructure for the satellite town proposed in Thoppur and Uchapatti
villages near Tirumangalam.
An official statement said that the integrated satellite town has been proposed along the Madurai-Tirunelveli four-way highway on 586.86 acres of land belonging to Tamil Nadu Housing Board.
